Meet Shannon Sheck:
Hi, I’m Shannon, and I work at the Akron Zoo! I did a takeover last year and I LOVED it! This year, I’d love to do a takeover to not only share my favorite places but my favorite practices to make Akron a cleaner, more sustainable place! (Things like the Wild Backyard program from Summit Metro Parks!) At the zoo I am a chair on a committee that we call the Green Team. Our mission is to not only make the zoo a greener place, but Akron as well, and there are SO many cool places and things you can do!
