Meet Tansy Recycling:
Hello! Ryan Carpenter and Wren Kohler are the artist duo that is Tansy Recycling. We make colorful multi-use art from hard to recycle single-use plastics! Our new artist collective + skillshare zone + recycling workshop, The Rookery, will be opened on November 1, 2025, on Kenmore Boulevard. We’re hyped to provide a creative home for other Akron artists and offer opportunities for folks to nourish their creative spirit!!!
We love the tight knit, supportive community of Akron— everybody knows everybody— balanced with the size of the city. There are still many friends and connections to be made! We’re also HUGE fans of all the nature throughout the city, like the Heronry on Waterloo Rd.
