Dana Setting was born and raised in Akron. She lives in Highland Square and works for Akron Summit County Public Library.
Dana says, “I know this city inside and out and would love to share my adventures [through Summit Peeks].” She is in love with Akron and “all about keeping us alive and growing.”
She has strong family ties to the city. Four generations of her family are buried in Glendale Cemetery. Her great-grandmother retired from Goodrich after 40 years, and her dad was one of the last mill men in Akron.
