Meet Karen, in her own words:
Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone! I am Karen Starr and I live and work in West Hill – the small but mighty, beautiful and fascinating neighborhood that is nestled in between downtown and Highland Square.
I’m on the board of West Hill Neighborhood Organization and I care deeply about what happens around here – not just in my little West Hill section of Akron paradise, but the city as a whole. As a result, I love to co-create events and projects that celebrate our quirkiness and I love to get involved in a wide variety of things – some of which I’ll share this week!
My work keeps me hopping. I am co-owner of Hazel Tree Design Studio (@hazeltreedesignstudio on Instagram) and I am lucky enough to get to design and create all sorts of interior and public space projects around town. I’ll share some of that as well this week!
