Meet Elyza:
I am 21 year old 4th year Dance Major at Kent State University. I commute to KSU, and thus have been a lifelong Akron resident.
I have been apart of the art community here my entire life, and have been dancing for 15 years throughout the greater Akron area. Akron offers so much diversity in the types of artists & performers living and working here, and is an amazing place to discover other artists to collaborate with.
Although I plan to travel after college, Akron is and always will be a place that includes many of my favorite things to do. Some of my favorites (pre-covid-19) include attending the annual Ohio Mart festival, spending my Saturday nights with friends in Highland Square, hiking in the Metro Parks, visiting local bakerys/coffee shops, attending Lock 3 concerts/food festivals, and watching my friends perform in open mic nights at Uncorked in downtown.
