Meet Kimmy:
Hi! I grew up in North Canton and live in Stow. I am a self-taught artist and accidental art activist. I am using my personal experience with Bipolar 1 and Generalized anxiety disorder(s) as inspiration for the @bipolarbutterflyproject . With interactive, public art installations, I hope to open a comfortable dialogue about mental health for my children’s generation. I have an install at Belden Village mall, Stow City Hall, Cuyahoga Falls, Stan Hywet Hall (3 this 2021 garden season) and am currently working on one for the Akron Zoo. I would love to share my story and spread the word. We need to address mental health now more than ever before. People should feel comfortable addressing mental health and seeking help when needed.
