I moved to Akron about 2.5 years ago for my job – must admit that it definitely wasn’t love at first sight! But from not knowing a single soul in Akron for one whole week to having an amazing community I can count on, I believe I have come a long way! Akron is home now, and I often find myself handing out recommendations about Akron gems with great confidence and a sense of belonging.
I love the fact that I could find love, acceptance, friendship, adventure and fun (along with my fair share of despair and frustrations – both traffic/construction related) in Akron, and that there’s so much more to explore!
