Everyday Akron has once again teamed up with Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Centre to bring you another Grown-Up Book Fair! And this time, we’re shaking things up a bit…

Join us on Saturday, February 24 from 11 am to 4 pm at Compass Cafe—the home of Elizabeth’s brick-and-mortar store—for that sweet sweet book fair bliss and to support some of Akron’s Black-owned businesses.
Before we introduce some of our amazing vendors, we want to introduce a unique detail compared to our last book fair. (Yes, admission is still free!)
This time, we’re introducing a sensory-friendly shopping hour from 11 am to Noon. So, for those who would prefer a sensory-friendly environment, we’ll provide a setting with lower lighting, quieter music and fewer people.
In order to limit the crowd, we ask that you only register for this shopping hour if you or you or anyone in your party requires a sensory-friendly environment. We promise we will have plenty of books and merch for all shoppers, all day long!

See you soon for book fair bliss!
We had an incredible time at the first book fair in October 2023, and we’re sure this one will be just as amazing. Hopefully you’ll join us, pick up a new read, support our vendors, and help us spread the word.
