Meet Summit Arts Collective:
Summit Arts Collective is a nonprofit arts program for children. We have seen firsthand how beneficial arts education is to young people and wholeheartedly believe there should be more access to it. That access should include the elimination of financial obstacles as well as the creation of programming that not only welcomes all young people into an inclusive and inviting space where they can feel comfortable and confident taking risks and expressing themselves authentically, but also presents no barriers to participation in regards to level of experience or skill. Summit Arts Collective is run by NEO community members who live, work, and create in Akron. We are passionate about creating community through the arts and Akron is a FABULOUS place to make that happen! We love all the theaters, concert venues, art, and festivals that can be found in Akron. We LOVE being a part of this community and helping to build brave spaces where NEO kids can explore their creativity!
