Alexis Cozadd moved to Akron in 2008 when she attended The University of Akron. It was love at first sight when she saw the campus – not only for the school but for the city as well.
During her time at UA, she interned at the International Soap Box Derby. She is now the non-profit’s Resource Development Manager.
After living in Akron for eight years, Alexis feels there are still a lot of things she hasn’t yet had the chance to experience. She says, “The fact that Akron is home to so many amazing things, such as the Soap Box Derby, LeBron James and Goodyear, makes it a wonderful place to live. The city never ceases to amaze me!”
Alexis says she has “mad love for the Rubber City.” Her takeover should be full of fun and exploration. Follow Summit Peeks on Twitter to catch all of Alexis’ tweets this week.
