Byron Delpinal’s favorite thing about Akron is its “awesome, inclusive and welcoming community.” After moving to the city for college (having grown up in Cleveland), he fell in love with the surrounding Akron community that contributed to much of his collegiate success. At The University of Akron, Byron studied computer engineering and was involved in many robotics and technology teams.
Through local user groups, Byron met many of the connections that were required to begin the career he always wanted. A software developer by trade and passion, he now works at Coffee and Code. To start giving back to the community, he founded and organized the Akron Front End Development Community. He also helped found and organize Hack N Akron, a local, civic-minded hacking group.
Byron now lives in Kent. But we won’t count that against him. Thankfully, his office is in OSC Tech Lab in Downtown Akron.
