Jenn Kidd loves Akron. Her favorite things are the parks and fellow Akronites. Learn about Jenn, this week’s host, in her own words:
“I grew up in Canton. However, when I turned 18, I decided I wanted to move to the big city. I moved to Akron!
I travelled around a lot when I was younger, but kept coming back to Akron. I especially love, love, love Downtown. Years ago, I had the pleasure of working at the best music venue that ever existed in Akron until its last days. I now have the immense privilege to be doing what I love at what I believe is the best salon in Akron: Apotheclaire. If you haven’t checked out the shop yet, you probably should. 🙂
I have a teenage son who has been raised Akron through and through, from riding his skateboard around Highland Square to spending quality time at smART Studio working on his art. My better half, Gabe Schray, is an insanely good musician who has been playing in various incantations around Akron since forever ago. We also have two cats and two goofy dogs, Merv and Scooter.”
