Meet Andy:
I was born in, raised in, and a soon-to-be homeowner of Akron, in the area of Ellet (southeastern Akron). I’m a local scientist (geology, construction, and civil engineering), accountant (public audit), and artist/designer (Hillier Design; I make and supply soft enamel pins, keychains, lanyards, and other gifts/apparel, as well as illustrate and paint).
I attended Akron Early College High School, got my HSD and associates degree at 18, my bachelors degree at 19, worked for 4 years as a geotechnical engineering geologist, and am now halfway through graduate school for accounting and information systems. I spend most of my time working remotely at home or out of several local coffee shops (where I also sell my art), or hiking, usually at Sand Run, O’Neil Woods, or Hampton Hills. I have big goals/aspirations to go into business consulting! And have recently (over the past 3 years) lost over 150 lbs and come a long way socially.
