Meet Melanie:
A Barberton native, I attended St. Vincent-St. Mary for high school and have had a love for Akron ever since! After graduating from Kent State University in 2018, I moved to Spain for a year to teach English. I then returned in my roots and am now a West Hill resident. I work at Don Drumm Studios, where I manage Don’s pewter items and handle the administrative side of his commissions. I am also a contributor for The Devil Strip magazine, which has helped me discover even more great people and places in Akron!
Having lived in a few other cities, I have really come to appreciate Akron. There is a feeling of hominess and hard work, and there is a rich history here. There is a plethora of great places to eat or grab a drink and it seems that there is always something to do.
