What types of products or services do you offer?
We sell vintage furniture and decor and are beginning to talk with local artisans about showcasing their work in our space as well.
How do you help your customers?
We help them find specific pieces for their homes. We also help customers appraise or clear out vintage and antique items they no longer want in their homes.
How and when did the business get started?
My friend and neighbor Regan Boothe and I recently opened RUST in March 2022 as a way for us to share our love for vintage and repurposing furniture.
What is your business’s relationship with the city of Akron and Akronites?
We hope to provide Akron with a new kind of vintage store, a curated, welcoming space where customers can see how an eclectic mix of vintage and repurposed items could work in their own homes.
How do you see your business growing/evolving into the future?
We’d love to see more local artists and artisans selling in the store. We also look forward to hosting small events at our space or participating in local markets.
