Your Instagram host (and Everyday Akron creator!) for the week of April 10, 2022

Meet Rachel:
Hey it’s Ray! If you’ve been following Everyday Akron for a while, I’m probably a familiar face. It’s nice to see you again! If you’re new here, hello! I hope this little slice of the internet has been educational and entertaining—and you’ve meet some new Akronites along the way.
I created Everyday Akron in 2016 as a way for Akronites to share their side of the city. Each week, a new Akronite hosts the @everydayakron Instagram account, and occasionally I’ll share bonus content on the blog. You may discover some new-to-you places or simply a new perspective on a local favorite. If you’d like to get involved with Everyday Akron beyond engaging on the Instagram account, there are a few ways to do so:

- Sign up to host the @everydayakron Instagram account to share your side of Akron (now scheduling for 2023!)
- Write a #BlogPostCard about your favorite thing in Akron
- If you own a local business, sign up to be featured on the website
- Similarly, if you’re part of a non-profit in the area, sign up to feature the organization
- Buy some merch or an Everyday Akron sticker
And, speaking of local business and non-profit features, learn about some of the amazing things happening in Akron that have recently been featured on the blog:
- Keep Akron Beautiful — Volunteer to help clean up the city

- Julia Belle’s Seasonings, Rubs & Mixes — Find out where to get these tasty products
