Stephanie Singleton is the owner of A Princess for a Day, a micro-venue located in the Holiday Inn in Montrose. As an Ohio State licensed wedding officiant, she also provides mobile service to all counties within the region which allows her to work with each county Probate Court.

What types of products or services do you offer?
We brought the Las Vegas wedding concept to Akron and recognized for Small Wedding and Elopement ceremonies. We also host a variety of family-style social events for up to 24 guests.
How do you help your customers?
We cater to their wedding and party needs. We eliminate the emotional and financial stress that goes into party/wedding planning by offering an all-inclusive experience at a fraction of the cost.

When did the business get started?
We started in February 2020, just weeks before the pandemic. We then reopened in June 2020.
What is your business’s relationship with the city of Akron and Akronites?
Stephanie, the owner and officiant of A Princess for a Day, was born and raised in East Akron.
How do you see your business growing/evolving into the future?
As the first and only micro-venue located inside a chain hotel (Holiday Inn – Montrose, 4073 Medina Rd., Akron, Ohio 44333), we hope to duplicate our business platform in other hotels throughout Ohio.
