Warm days are ahead for the next few months and gardens are growing, which means it’s officially farmers market season! We’re lucky to have a handful of farmers markets in the Akron area. With the help of the Akron Beacon Journal’s 2023 Summit County farmers market guide, along with some other additions, we’ve created this guide (along with an interactive map!) to help you easily find a farmers market close to you.
Farmers markets are a great way to not only support local farmers and makers, but also eat locally made and grown products. You’ll find an array of offerings at farmers markets, including fresh produce, homemade bread, locally raised meat, and handpicked flowers. Make sure to bring a reusable bag with you to carry all of your farmers market goodies!
Before you go, check the farmers market’s website or social media (linked below) so that you can see what vendors will be there and also when the farmers market is held (some don’t start until July).
