Your Instagram host for the week of July 14, 2019
Hey, it’s Ray!
I’ll be hosting the Everyday Akron Instagram account once every few months just to check in and see how everyone is doing. I get to connect with a lot of you through the Everyday Akron Twitter and Facebook accounts, as well as my personal Insta. But it’s nice to take over @everydayakron to share updates on the project, take polls and ask questions (the most recent being “Where is your favorite place in the Akron area to get ice cream?”), and even host giveaways. Yes, there are a few happening this week!

Although this time I will give you three of my favorite things to do in Akron:
- Looking for herons in Summit Metro Park and Cuyahoga Valley National Park … and really anywhere I can find them. (Check out the #heronseveryday hashtag)
- Grabbing a beer with friends at Missing Falls Brewery … or really any Akron brewery.
- Admiring all the incredible artwork around town … especially the colorful murals by Art Bomb Brigade.
